Wellllll can you turn it back to green? I don't care as much these days. Not over 300k people logging into GWG anymore

Doubt I'd get harassed much.

Also - if you saw how people try driving out here in a light dusting of snow you'd want to stay home as well. They just don't know how to handle it. I want to stay home because the other dumb drivers. Also- 100+ temps for days on end we get along okay

It's very humid here as well. Feels like a sauna in the summer. Bleh.

And yes - our weather is very sporadic. It can be 30's one day and 80 the next. They have a saying here: If "you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes and it will change". haha.

welcome to the usa...most places around here the weather can change faster than you can change clothes! And around here you can get temps waaay below zero (-20--actual temp not wind chill) and up to and including 100! humidity during the summer as bad as florida and dry air in the winter....some of the most extreme around. We have had days where it was 70 in the morning then snowing and 20's by nightfall.

and the way folks drive around here, you wonder, since we get snow about 5-6 months every year, yet these idiots look at it like its some alien goo on the ground! Its not like we only get some a few times every decade!

whatdo'ya' mean adding comments to previous posts....we just dont get as much traffic here as we used to

Somedays are very slow. Sometimes weeks are slow. But we stick with it!

Been busy today. Had a haircut, practiced my route from the airport to the hotel for tomorrow, and washed the car. Then came home and did some paperwork and filing. Woo... I thin I'm finally caught up with that. Have to go pick some guys up at the airport for my dad tomorrow (thus the practice run today). They are pretty important guys so ya... Should be fun. Just hope the snow stays away.

Ah yes, the snow. We are predicted to get anywhere from 1-6 inches depending on the moment. Here is to hoping for 1 inch and planning for 12!

watched star trek 4 last night, syfy is supposed to be doing a marathon of some of his roles today...might watch those.

In the 20's here. With beautiful snow. Well, beautiful if it were DECEMBER! But it's not. It is March... And we are getting hit with snow. That will make my drive today fun... >.>

I was also very saddened to hear about his passing. He was a great actor and will be dearly missed.

was warm here today, had some errands to run and even had the window open in my car (yeah, it was a little...er,....nippy, but its been such a long time)....was in the 20's

and might even hit FREEZING tomorrow /faint! and then, well reality hits again with highs only forecast for the teens

did my own hair cut (only cut my bangs...when they poke my eyes, they are targets for my scissors!), the back of my hair is still long enough for me (and others) to sit on, will have to wait for my 'trim' for the spring as I wont go out with wet hair (and the beauticians seem to think that towel dry is dry--sorry no).

think its shrimp for dinner...with loads of garlic, oh yeah, no vampires here (and from the amount of garlic we eat--no heart disease either!)

Barely made it to 30 here today... Supposed to be 40ish tomorrow. But freezing rain early morning until it warms up. So yay on that... Supposed to be in the teens again Wednesday and Thursday. Which is not okay with me...

It's back to warmer here for now. Upper 70's and 60's. Then tomorrow another front and cold for a few days. Then back up again. haha

Lucky you. We are sitting at 30 here. And the whole place is an ice skating rink. I just went outside and started sliding as soon as I stepped foot onto the sidewalk. Real glad they cancelled school today! I would not want to drive in this.

hubby said it was pretty slippery this morning---was snowing when I went to bed, he said it was just turning into sleet when he left for work and that his parking lot there was a skating rink! soooo glad I plan to stay inside and try to sleep today ...emphasis on the TRY part. Though supposed to be above freezing for the first time in.....3 weeks! today /faint

Pretty dang slippery is an understatement here. Wife said it was slippery up there but she was able to get to and from work safely. Should be interesting tomorrow... Lots of the ice melted this afternoon but it is supposed to be 20 degrees tomorrow, so it will just refreeze. Could still be bad...

I'm looking forward to next week. Supposed to be in the 50's towards the end of the week! Would looooove that!

Found out on Monday that if I were to be staying at my current job I would have received tenure status. Which is pretty cool. Just doesn't do me any good since I have to leave that job to head north.

yeah tomorrow is going to be another mess--we did get above freezing so stuff started to melt, but back below that point now...soooooo...everyone beeeee careful out there!
next week we might hit 40! (and for 3 days that are showing on the weather channel, might be a trend??? we can hope!!)

pwnd, you have my husband's luck on that one. He used to have 3 really good years, and then all >blank< would break loose....though I think you can use that in your interviews...saying that I would be getting my tenure if I were to stay at my current position----

Today the roads were fine, my parking lot not so much, but the roads were fine. And with no other precipitation today they should be okay tomorrow as well. Then it is supposed to start warming up!

That is the exact reason I asked. I wanted to be able to say that I was offered tenure but had to decline due to these circumstances. And I wanted to make sure that my story would be backed up by my administration. Didn't want to say it, have them call, and my current administration go, ah well actually we didn't follow through cause we knew he was leaving. That would be bad...

lol The cold can stay with you Stuey. I'm done with it and definitely over it! And yes, it was bitterly cold here today too. But we are supposed to get to the upper 30's tomorrow before hitting low 60's next week. So that sounds nice.

I would hope they would check. If they didn't I would be worried!
